SHELTERS IN NEED OF FOOD AND SUPPLIES

(Bay News 9) -- With the new year off to a chilly start, shelters across the Bay area are in need of food and supplies.



Officials say donations are needed on an ongoing basis.



Items wanted include food, blankets, coffee, disposable dinnerware, money, and gift certificates to grocery stores.



Anyone can drop those items off at the Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless office located at 5180 62nd Avenue N in Pinellas Park.



The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m or call 727-528-5763.



Several cold weather shelters in Hillsborough County will be open Saturday, January 2 for the homeless and residents without adequate heat.



Bethune Park Rural Shelter (South County) 5809 Edina St. in Wimauma.

This shelter opens at 6 p.m. and is for adults and families.

This shelter opens at 5:30 p.m. and is for homeless individuals and families with children in the Brandon Area.

Metropolitan Ministries, 2010 N. Florida Ave. in Tampa

This shelter opens at 4 p.m. and is for families.

Salvation Army, 1514 N. Florida Ave. in Tampa

This shelter opens at 4 p.m. and is only for adults.



After hours phone: (813) 221-4440.





The Bethune Park location will stay open until 8 a.m. Sunday, and meals will be provided.



Brandon Community Center will stay open until 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and meals will be provided.



Hillsborough County's Health & Social Services Department works with these organizations to help provide cold weather shelters when temperatures are predicted to reach 32 degrees or below, including the wind

DRAG QUEEN

11/25/09  sa  I was walking down M.L.K at 3:00 in the moning when this red comeo pass by me blowing.it look like a woman was driveing at.now i know i look good but not that good and not at 3:00  o clock in the moning.and when it turn around and pull up a long side me i know some thing was not right.and I was right.it was a man in full drag. he was about 5,9 a 150lb wearing a short red party dress with one of those red ruffer around his neck. and a long brown wig.that touch the car seat.and he was trying to talk in a sexul voice he y(hey big man "man i like them big"could U tell me well florida ave at I say it wear U just came from just turn back around going east an U can't miss it.that whenhe lean over closer to the side I was on an start batting his eyes.(I try to be nice to people until thay do or say something I dont like.)so when he start batting his I say to myself let me  put a stop to this now.I had some paper towler in my hand so I just spit my treeths  in my hand  and start cleaning them.that car lelf rubber in the street geting away.I gress that end that conversation.

I am standing  in line at fath cafe (They serve lunch to people in need)I look acorss the street at this 14 story builden and see the window washer but they don"t have shaff but is hanger outside the builden on rope washing the window.you don' see that ever day.I say to myself, they must be trying to get thougth Quick.Iam just lisening to some of the talk around me from some of the homeless. and thinking about they are just people trying to make it in a world going mad.trying to fine a job is hard for everybody but at lease some of use try.Not a coward like some that lose his job then come home and kill his wife and kids . he to coward to just take his on life.with the homeless you have your craze like with enting group of people.I call them( BUGS )  . that is what they are call in prison.you have your Good bug and your bad bug. the good one just walk around talking to his or her self and minding there on business .but the bad bugs mess with everybody and everything.then there a few that don't know if they are coming or going.I have seen some that will put a kife in you just for fun me as a rule if I don't know you.(don't mess to me and I will not mess with you because there is to much game runing out here. but as a whole there a lot of good people out here who are just going thouth some bad time (It could be you .some people are just one pay check from the street.and I see new face out here everday. so don't say not you .that why when you see a homessless persons you should help out as much as you can.and GOD will bless you and some.my name is  BIG E  and this is..................MY STREET SONGS.

THE LOWER OF THE LOW LIFE.(BOTTOM FEEDER)

To me the lowest most nasty,most disgustingly,most deceitful person,no that is not a personing that is a bottom feeder.(And we know what a bottom feeder eat.)And that is a feeder that molest and or kill kids.there is two story that I am thinking about now one is .This five year old girl (baby)mother prostitute her out to this one B-Feeder and the police fine her dead. they did a autopsy on her body and find out that she had ben sexual assault and choke.that make my blood hot.and what kind of mother would  sell her 5 year old for money like that.she should get the samething the B-FEEDER get."what do u think of this story.and the outher one is a short one.A 15  year old boy rape a 3 year old baby. but his life was cut shot because his father kill him.Iam going to with whole comment on that one something just not right with this one .for one thing was the son right in the head and should the father kill his son?  "what do u  think.      this is  STREET  SONGS.                                                                                                                                     

I am going to be talking about some of the thing that go on in the street,and with the homeless.that why I START WRITING THIS BLOG.towrite down some some of the thing I see and hear and be thinking from the way I SEE THE STREET.and to take COMMENT and OUT LOOK on how other see it to.(bear with me this is my first time biog.) I will get better as GOD permit. But as I was saying I will be writing about the people and thing of the street.to talk about some of the top story in the new and on the street, to state my mine from one black man way of thinking.and I am open to comment from other.
